SEND Wellbeing Camps at Queens Park, Chester

Queen’s Park High School is an ambitious, forward thinking school, aiming to provide the very best learning and personal development opportunities for every young person that they serve.

Our specialist SEND health and wellbeing camps align with the values of the school in that we are aiming to provide exceptional experiences for young people with special educational needs.

Located on Queens Park Road,
Handbridge, this setting provides a superb environment for our camps.

Winter Camps 2024

Our SEND Witner Half Term Health and Wellbeing Kids Camps are now available to book at Queens Park.

We are dedicated to ensuring children have an active and engaging half term designed to enhance their overall health and wellbeing. 

Our programme has been developed to support all SEND needs, with sensory activities, physical activities and practical games.

Staff ratio will be one staff member to four children.

FAQ

How do I know if I am eligible for funded spaces?

If you are in receipt of benefit related free school meals or you have children who are looked after, you are eligible for a funded space.

Is it just sport and performing arts?

No, children will also take part in neuroscience games, designed to aid brain development. Activities such as Lego, Four in a Row, Board Games, Chess and games that promote problem solving.

If I do not meet the above requirements can my child attend?

Yes, we offer private spaces on all of our camps, if there are no spaces listed please get in touch and we will endeavour to ensure spaces are available.

Is lunch provided?

Lunch is provided for our funded spaces only. Children that are accessing non funded spaces are expected to bring their own lunch and drink.

What activities will my child be doing?

Children will participate in various types of physical activity, including multiple sports such as football, basketball, dodgeball, cricket, they will also have the option to experience performing arts, such as dance or gymnastics. 

What time is drop off and collection?

We try and stick to a schedule to allow a safe and well structured day therefore drop off is 9.30am and no earlier and collection is 1.30pm. If you have additional drop off and pick up needs please speak to us beforehand.
