What is Exercise 4 Health?

Exercise 4 Health is a low intensity, low number, indoor and outdoor exercise initiative developed to support those with a long term health condition allowing people to lead a healthier and more fulfilling life.

Operating over eight week windows, which we refer to as “blocks” individuals can access eight funded sessions from a total of twelve dates.

All Exercise 4 Health sessions are kept to minimal numbers to ensure that each participant can benefit from high quality exercise and lifestyle support.

This is a funded community group exercise referral program that has been developed to support people who meet the below criteria:

– It will support and benefit those who are completely new to exercise and have a long term health condition.

– It will support and benefit people returning to exercise following a period of absence due to ill health.

– It will support and benefit people that need to make changes to their lifestyle for health reasons.

– It will support people that have been referred by their medical professional.

– It will support people that have been signposted by another organisation or referred by their support group.

Individuals can access EIGHT free sessions to enable them to kick start new health behaviours whilst receiving ongoing support with nutrition and sleep.
