Summer Transition

Our four-day Transition Activities are now available to book, operating over two weeks in the summer holiday period.

Children will explore the school setting, take part in multiple sports, engage in leadership activities and hear from past and current students regarding key transition milestones.

Racket sports, basketball, football, archery, handball, dodgeball, gymnastics, and boxing are some of the sports they will explore, as they make the next step in their education journey.

We have 10 funded spaces for those in receipt of benefits related free school meals, please use code KRM781 when booking.

Please note eligibility will be checked.

FAQ

How do I know if I am eligible for funded spaces?

If you are in receipt of benefit related free school meals, you have children who are looked after or children who have additional needs, you are eligible for a funded space when they are available.

how does this help them in school?

Children will engage with others that will be attending the school, they will also build relationships whilst on camp and also act as a mentor and coach to our younger children. These are all skills that support children in secondary school. They will meet older students and find out what life is like on site.

If I do not meet the above requirements can my child attend?

Yes, we offer private spaces on all of our camps, if there are no spaces listed please get in touch and we will endeavour to ensure spaces are available.

Is lunch provided?

Lunch is provided for our funded spaces only. Children that are accessing non funded spaces are expected to bring their own lunch and drink.

What activities will my child be doing?

Children will participate in various types of physical activity, including coaching, learning, mentoring and leadership type activities.

They will be supported at all times by our staff .

What time is drop off and collection?

We try and stick to a schedule to allow a safe and well structured day therefore drop off will be 9.45am and collection is 2.30pm. If you have additional drop off and pick up needs please speak to us beforehand.

WHAT PARENTS SAY

"Absolutely superb, my two boys have loved every minute and didn't want to come home. They are already asking when the next one is and if they can attend."

Tanya Moore

"The only camp that Leon enjoys and also the only camp where he feels comfortable and has been able to participate for the full week. He loves it, we love it and we cannot thank you enough - as always you have been brilliant."

Debbie Byrne

"The children have been to various clubs over the years, and this is up there with the best. I particularly like your approach to teaching and informing the children of good and healthy food /lifestyle choices."

Lesley Charteris

"I just want to thank you and your team for giving Kiki the opportunity to go to your camp! The camp is amazing, her behaviour at home has drastically changed since she’s attended, she’s talking a lot more about health. You and your team are doing a fantastic job."
